Africa Bound
Today I leave for Ethiopia with Life Water International(lifewater.org) Check back for my video and photo journal blog of the experience. We'll going to scout out a location for a well that will impact and bring clean water to 55,000 people! Send us your prayers! This is my first trip across the atlantic and I'm traveling by myself so needless to say it'll be an adventure. (this coming from the guy who is notorious for getting lost)...

We're done recording and now we're moving on to cleaning up the files and mixing. : ) Have a happy 4th of July friends!
Recording Background Vocals
The end of this week we'll spend recording background vocals. We're not done yet, but we're getting close. Maybe 2 more days worth. Chris Duran(worship leader/songwriter) came and did background on all the songs. At one point in the day we thought we might need a girl to reach this really high harmony.... little did we know.... Chris had a few tricks up his sleeve.
Organ Sweetness
Today we brought Jonathan in to do B3, rhodes, and piano. He is one cool cat and an incredible musician. During lunch we realized we all went to the same high school in town! Pasadena High and had the same band teacher Mr. Miller! Here's proof that public school music programs really do make a difference! Cheers to you Mr. Miller! thanks for helping us along the way.
Electric Guitar Day
Electric guitar is really fun for me. I brought in my good friend Brady McGowen to flush ideas out with. We set up shop and had a sound booth full of goodies and a plethora of guitars to find the right tone.

Recording Vocals this Week
Recording has been a long process. We've been at it since February and are finally getting around to hearing things close to being finished. Tomorrow we're finalizing up the vocals for "I Will Go". I'll be sure to take the flip camera and bring ya'll back a video.
